Filming for the new installment of the Batman franchise, The Dark Knight Rises landed in New York City on 5 Ave last week and turned Trump Towers into “Wayne Enterprises”. 

According to movieweb, Elijah Wood has been signed as the lead in the remake of the Bill Lusting horror classic, Maniac.  The 1980 original starring the great Joe Spinell is a horror staple and probably showcases some of Tom Savini’s best work. It was Spinell’s Rocky, with him writing and executive producing it.

Andrew “Andy” Rooney, celebrated writer, reporter, columist, producer, CBS commentator, and World War II Veteran passed away late Friday night at the young age of 92.
