This week’s Podwits Podcast find the boys hitting every nuance of the emotional spectrum. They are thrilled as J. Marcus relays his reaction to the recent Simpsons/Family Guy crossover episode; they are stunned and appalled over the breaking news regarding actor Stephen Collins; and they reminisce on word that the era of Saturday morning cartoons has […]

This week Dion and J. jump right into it! The boys discuss Quentin Tarantino’s dismay over the leaking of his new script, The Hateful Eight; the James Bond 50th anniversary Box Set and it’s extras; the exciting news that the 1966 Batman TV series will FINALLY get a proper DVD release; and a dissection of J’s Side Cast with […]

(After watching the horrible 2013 Muppet Special entitled Lady Gaga & The Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular, I wanted to republish an article that ran on Podwits.com in 2011 about one of the best Christmas Specials of all time, the 1987 A Muppet Family Christmas. This may have been the last great thing Mr. Henson put out before […]

Nothing is off […]

I have come to the conclusion that there are two time-frames when concerning the Muppets. Pre-Jim Henson’s Death and Post-Jim Henson’s Death. Sadly, the latter has not been as rewarding and fruitful in the world of the Muppets since Mr. Henson’s passing. Who or what is to blame? That is a debate for another day. […]

Who would of known. I don’t know why it has taken until 2011 for this to come out, but rumor on the street  is the classic Muppet song “Mahna Mahna” is from a  1968 Italian porn film entitled Sweden: Heaven and Hell. Huh.
